Within hours of the killing of Mexican drug lord Nemesio Oseguera, better known as El Mencho, in a military raid on Sunday, gunmen suspected to be his supporters blocked highways across several states and set cars and businesses ablaze.
The Mexican Army Special Forces conducted an operation in Jalisco State, in which the leader of the country's largest drug cartel, the New Generation of Jalisco (CJNG), Nemesio Oségera Cervantes (known as El Mencho), reported to the Mexican Ministry of National Defence.
After cartel leader El Mencho died, Tumulte broke out in Mexico. The president and foreign embassies are now warning.
