Metallica will perform eight shows with no repeated songs on select dates, using immersive 4D and LED technology at the Sphere, marking the venue's first hard rock residency.
- On Wednesday , Metallica announced a Life Burns Faster residency at the Sphere, with eight shows across four weekends in October on Oct. 1 & 3, 15 & 17, 22 & 24, and 29 & 31.
- The announcement continues Metallica's No Repeat Weekend tradition that began with the 2023 M72 tour, which has played to more than four million fans since its April 27 start.
- Ticketing details show Two-night No Repeat Weekend tickets and single-night tickets go on sale March 6 at 1 p.m. ET, with no songs repeated during Thursday and Saturday shows; fans can register at metallica.lnk.to/MetallicaSphere.
- Metallica will become the first hard rock/metal band at the Sphere, using its world's highest-resolution LED, Sphere Immersive Sound, and multi-sensory 4D technology for a wholly new experience.
- The Sphere's upcoming calendar already includes major bookings such as a 9-show run by Illenium, 9 shows from Phish, and an 18-gig run by No Doubt, with potential for additional Metallica dates, left open by the venue.
