Monday will mark 25 years since a landslide hit Log pod Mangartom, claiming seven lives. A huge mass of earth and rocks thundered out from under the Mangartska planina mountain in the middle of the night on November 17, 2000, and a large part of the village disappeared forever in a few moments. A mass will be held on Saturday in memory of the deceased villagers, and a candlelight vigil will be held on Sunday.
