Eight glaciers in Sweden have disappeared in the past year and dozens more are at risk. The melting has also affected the country's highest mountain, Kebnekaise, whose glaciated peak has shrunk by tens of meters over the past half century. Scientists warn that this is a long-term trend and that up to four-fifths of Sweden's glaciers could melt by the end of the century.
