Megan Trussell’s death was ruled a suicide by Boulder County. Her family fought to have key evidence tested.

On May 27, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office announced that Megan Trussell, an 18-year-old CU Boulder student who went missing in February, had died by suicide “as a result of the toxic effects of amphetamine” — a key ingredient in Adderall — with hypothermia as a contributing factor.
