MediaTek's Flagship Laptop Chip Is the Dimensity CX C10 Max, Debuts in a Lenovo Googlebook
- MediaTek introduced the Dimensity CX C10 Max on September 21, 2026, the inaugural SoC for its new Dimensity Compute Experiences family designed to power upcoming premium Googlebook devices.
- Following Qualcomm's recent push with the Snapdragon X lineup, MediaTek is expanding its portfolio into laptop Compute Experiences, aiming to challenge established silicon providers in the ultra-portable market.
- Built on TSMC's 3nm process, the chip features an octa-core All Big Core CPU and 11-core GPU. Its MediaTek NPU 890 delivers 55 TOPS of AI performance.
- "Bringing these capabilities to Googlebook builds on our leadership," said Vince Hu, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Data Center & Computing Business at MediaTek. The platform supports Wi-Fi 7 connectivity at 7.3 Gbps and Gemini Intelligence features.
- The power-efficient architecture enables fanless laptop designs with all-day battery life. By integrating the AI-ISP, MediaTek positions the C10 Max as foundational for future AI-driven, highly connected computing environments.
