A Jackson County jury found David Michael Somers guilty of three counts of unlawful use of a weapon with a firearm and one count of menacing on Wednesday, Oct. 28. Jackson County Circuit Court Pro Tem Judge Paul Moser imposed the five-year firearm minimum prison sentence, which was the maximum sentence Somers could receive under Oregon sentencing laws.
