Mechanical Issues Cause Ferry To Shut Down Once Again

On the morning of Thursday, August 14, the Plaquemines Parish Port Harbor & Terminal District (PPHTD) announced that the ferry known as the M/V Pride was temporarily out of service due to mechanical issues. As such, service on the Belle Chasse/ Scarsdale landings was suspended, and the service time on the Pointe a la Hache landing was extended to ensure residents could still utilize the ferries into the later evening hours.
