McDonald's bringing Grinch Meal to US for the first time
On Dec. 2, McDonald's will launch a limited-edition Grinch Meal nationwide at participating McDonald's locations in the U.S. in partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises.
The promotion stems from partnering with Dr. Seuss Enterprises in a formal collaboration that centers the Grinch in packaging and creative and builds on a 2024 Canadian run.
The Grinch Meal includes a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, a medium drink, Dill Pickle "Grinch Salt" McShaker Fries, and one of four collectible Grinch-themed socks.
McDonald's is staging a cross-platform campaign with TV ads, paid placements and a gaming program led by Wieden+Kennedy New York, citing $40 million incremental marketing spend.
Earlier this month McDonald's revived its Holiday Pie, underscoring a broader seasonal menu refresh strategy and is leaning into fandom and nostalgia through social channels and Times Square billboard activations.
