Mayor of Zagreb: Thompson only Has One Concert at the Arena, He Won't Be Allowed Another

Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomašević announced today that controversial singer Marko Perković, better known by his nickname Tompson, will perform at the Zagreb Arena on December 27th, as the contract was signed in March this year, while he will not be allowed to perform other concerts at the Zagreb venue due to his use of the Ustasha salute "Za dom spremni" at a previous concert.

Marko Perković Thompson has never performed or written an Ustasha song. His musical opus is based exclusively on original works that speak of the Homeland War, love for Croatia and faith, and all of his songs are legal and legitimate, the musician's statement emphasizes.

Tomašević stated that Thompson's management requested that the concert be held on December 28th, but that an agreement was not reached.
