Mavs head to Gunnison for season-opening meet
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.— The Colorado Mesa University Mavericks will begin the 2025-26 indoor track & field season at this weekend's Western Colorado Open and Multi in Gunnison. The Mavericks have entered a partial squad of 42 athletes (19 men, 23 women) in the Friday/Saturday meet in Western Colorado University's Mountaineer Field House.
