Masimo Corp. today announced Katie Szyman as its new chief executive, effective Feb. 12. Szyman is currently worldwide president of BD Advanced Patient Monitoring, the former Critical Care unit of Edwards Lifesciences Corp. that was acquired by Becton, Dickinson and Co. last year for $4.2 billion.
