A Maryland man has admitted to his role in an elaborate scheme that convinced victims to turn over cash and gold to couriers posing as federal agents.Jaskirat Singh, 22, of Columbia, Maryland, signed a plea agreement Oct. 6 in connection with a federal felony count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in an interstate conspiracy that robbed victims of around $1.5 million.
