- On Feb. 23, 2026, Academy Award-winning actor Robert Downey Jr. was named godparent of the Disney Adventure, which will be christened in Singapore on March 4 and sail March 10.
- Maritime tradition calls for a godparent to bless new ships, and Disney chose Downey to link the vessel to Marvel storytelling and boost its profile in Asia, citing his Tony Stark role and Disney Legend status.
- Featuring seven themed areas, Disney Adventure includes Marvel Landing with Tony Stark's Ironcycle Test Run and offers more than 20 dining and lounge venues with international and Asian-inspired cuisine.
- The Adventure will operate from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore and is scheduled to homeport there for at least five years, expanding Disney Cruise Line's offerings in Asia.
