The fate of former President Martín Vizcarra was left in the hands of the Third Criminal Chamber of National Appeals, which on Thursday, August 20, will evaluate whether or not it confirms the 14-year prison sentence imposed on him for the offence of passive bribery of his own to the detriment of the state following the Lomas de Ilo and Regional Hospital cases in Moquegua.
The Third Criminal Chamber of National Appeals program the virtual hearing in which the sentence of 14 os against the former president, accused of receiving undue payments when he was governor of Moquegua, is reviewed.
