Marjorie Taylor Greene says all she heard from Trump’s speech was ‘war war war’
Greene said Trump’s address offered no clear plan, timeline or mention of children’s future as he defended the war with Iran.
Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized President Trump's 20-minute address on Iran on Tuesday, claiming she heard only "WAR WAR WAR" instead of solutions for rising living costs and the deficit.
President Trump delivered the address amid escalating conflict with Iran that began when America and Israel launched joint strikes on February 28. Trump threatened to destroy Iran's electric generating plants if peace negotiations failed.
Greene, who previously broke with Trump over the Epstein files, stated the speech contained "nothing about lowering the cost of living, reducing the deficit or anything about the country's future." She wrote, "I'm so beyond done."
Greene's public denunciation fractures Republican unity on the military strategy, as questions over Trump's handling of the conflict grow even among GOP members who previously supported him.
Trump warned more strikes could arrive within two to three weeks, stating operations are "on track to complete all of America's military objectives" as the conflict continues escalating.
