In view of the proximity of the FIFA 2026 World Football Cup and the summer holiday season and the influx of national and foreign tourists who will visit the port of Acapulco to enjoy its beaches, the “Operation Baluarte” has been launched, a strategy through which security and surveillance actions will be strengthened, guaranteeing the protection of visitors, in coordination with authorities of the three orders of government.
