The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, through the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARENA), is participating in the Latin American and Caribbean Ministerial Meeting for the Implementation of Regional Climate Action, taking place in Mexico City on August 25 and 26.
On Monday and Tuesday, the first Latin American and Caribbean Ministerial Meeting was held in Mexico to promote knowledge sharing and joint climate action for COP30. Who are they meeting? Twenty-two countries represented by 18 ministerial authorities from the environmental, energy and sustainable development portfolios attend the meeting.
