Marauders lose doubleheader to Mavericks despite excellent start from Verploegen - University of Mary Athletics

MANKATO, MN – An excellent pitching performance by true freshman Elyssa Verploegen was not enough for the University of Mary softball team (9-26, 2-8 Northern Sun) as the Marauders lost their doubleheader (8-0, 2-1) to Minnesota State University, Mankato (24-12, 8-2 NSIC).
