NISSWA — Former Pequot Lakes cross-country standout Clayton Foster ran a 2:40:58 to win the Run for the Lakes marathon Saturday, May 3. The 33-year-old beat out Tim Maguire of Minneapolis by almost seven minutes for the title. Duluth’s Louie St. George III finished third. NISSWA — Local runners placed within the top four spots of the Brainerd Jaycees Run for the Lakes marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K races Friday and Saturday, May 2-3, in Nisswa.
