Many medical treatments at risk due to amendment Members of Parliament: 'Cancer patients are left out in the cold'

A large number of advanced treatments for cancer, among other things, are in danger of no longer remaining available to the Dutch. This is the result if an amendment by MPs Harmen Krul (CDA) and Sarah Dobbe (SP) is adopted. "Terrible. Patients with life-threatening diseases are left out in the cold."

The PIF explains that with 79% mandatory reimbursements, the state only covers treatments for 77 out of 365 days a year.
