Maney is being challenged by Democrat Samuel Chang, who currently lives in Tallahassee. Chang, who is from Boca Raton, is a former line cook, according to his Facebook page. Maney, R-Shalimar, is an Army veteran and former longtime Okaloosa County judge who is serving in his second two-year term in the Florida House of Representatives.
