ARECIBO – A man from Arecibo was charged on Tuesday for allegedly using the personal information of a co-worker to purchase a car at a metropolitan area dealership, in events that occurred in May 2024 in Barceloneta. Edgardo J. Vélez Balaguer, 34, would have taken his partner's name, address and social security to achieve the transaction with false documents, as revealed by the investigation of Arecibo's Hurted Vehicles division.
