As Ken MacKay walked down Portsmouth Avenue in Kingston on Thursday afternoon, he marked yet again another day in the books on his journey from Windsor to Ottawa. His 750-kilometre walk is filled with purpose as he aims to not just raise awareness about homeless veterans, but to also raise funds for the Homes For Heroes Foundation, which builds tiny home villages for veterans in need.
