He is doing so in protest against a court ruling that forces him to demolish his hut. He is also on hunger strike and is hoping for a pardon from the king.

A fifty-something living in an illegally built hut in a forest near Dinant has been hanging from a fence on the cliff face of the citadel of the Namur municipality since Thursday. He is also on hunger strike. The man was still hanging there on Saturday evening, confirmed Mayor Richard Fournaux.
