Man killed after crashing stolen motorcycle identified
From Tribune staff reports BIRMINGHAM, Ala.–The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died Monday night after crashing a stolen motorcycle on I-65 as Charles Rogers Daugherty, 32, of Birmingham. Daugherty had been traveling on I-65 North through Gardendale at a “high rate of speed” when he lost control, was thrown from the motorcycle, and struck by another vehicle.
