According to eyewitnesses, the man knocked on the window from the outside. After the approach, "the conductor had yelled at him properly," said a passenger. The police also approached.
Because a man with the stopping time of the train at the station in St. Pölten had guessed himself, he decided to jump on the moving train. The train crew had to initiate an emergency braking shortly afterwards in order to let the man enter again. The train passengers should not have been badly amazed when they saw a man clinging to the rail jet from the outside.
