At around 3:10 pm on the 8th, Kazuya Matsuura (66), an unemployed man, was found buried in snow while removing snow from his home in Ohori, Mogami-machi, Yamagata Prefecture, by his wife, who called 119. According to the Yamagata Prefectural Police Shinjo Station, he was taken to the hospital but is in a critical condition and unconscious. It is believed he was caught in snow falling from the roof.
