Man Gets 100 to Life for Molesting Boy and Girl in La Habra

A 60-year-old man was sentenced Friday to 100 years to life in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting a boy from ages 10 to 12 and a girl from ages 4 to 8 while he lived with both in La Habra. Gerardo Monroy was found guilty July 2 of continuous sexual abuse of a child and three counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor, all felonies.
