A man died when he was hit by a vehicle in Henderson, North Carolina, on Monday, according to Henderson police.

Pedestrian killed in Henderson on West Andrews Avenue

A pedestrian was hit and killed in Henderson Monday afternoon.  Around 2:45 p.m. Emergency personnel with the Henderson Fire Department and Vance County Emergency Services responded to a call of a man lying in the road in the 600 block of West Andrews Avenue.  When they arrived, they found 69-year-old Matt Kinard of Henderson in the roadway.
