Man dies after car crashes down embankment in Hood River County

A 36-year-old man died in a single-car crash in Hood River County on Sunday, Oregon State Police said.Omar Julio Solano-Delgado, 33, of Hood River, was behind the wheel of a Subaru Outback when it plowed through a guardrail on Oregon Route 35 and plummeted down an embankment at about 2:36 a.m., authorities said. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
