Man dead after Hawthorne shooting

HAWTHORNE — A man was shot to death Sunday at or near a bar in Hawthorne. The shooting was reported at 7 p.m. Sunday in the 13700 block of South Inglewood Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which sent homicide detectives to the scene to assist the Hawthorne Police Department in its investigation.
