Man Charged with Resisting Arrest

A 55-year-old man spent the night in the lockup after police were called to reports of an intoxicated man last night. Police say the man was not cooperative with officers when they arrived, and reportedly assaulted one of them. The accused was arrested or assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. He was held for court.
