Man Charged over Incident Where Car Driven Into Group
Four people, including three teenagers, were injured after a car drove at pedestrians, and Sean McGlone was later charged with dangerous driving.
On Monday, 29-year-old Sean McGlone appeared before Balbriggan District Court charged with dangerous driving following a weekend incident in Skerries, County Dublin.
Gardaí responded to Harbour Road in Skerries on Saturday after "a large number of youths gathered and an altercation broke out," during which a car was driven at people.
Four people, including three teenagers, sustained "non-life-threatening injuries" and were transported to Beaumont Hospital; Gardaí appealed for witnesses and dash-cam footage.
Judge Stephanie Coggins granted McGlone bail on a €5,000 bond with a €1,000 lodgement, requiring him to sign on three times weekly at Drogheda Garda Station.
Represented by barrister Pearse Collins, McGlone is scheduled to return to Balbriggan District Court on 23 September after his arrest on Sunday on suspicion of endangerment.
