A truck driver from Montreal has been charged with impaired after being pulled over near the community of Pond Cove on the Great Northern Peninsula. Port Saunders RCMP got a call about a suspected impaired driver just after 9:30 p.m. on June 20th. The vehicle was located partially off the roadway, and open alcohol containers were found nearby.
