- New Castle County officers found a white Toyota Tacoma after hours, Khan refused orders, resisted arrest, and a vehicle search uncovered a composition notebook with UD Police diagram.
- Investigators executed a search warrant at Khan's South Van Buren Street residence, Wilmington, recovering a Glock 19 with illegal conversion device, a.556 rifle with scope and red dot sight, and a tactical vest with ballistic plate.
- Federal prosecutors charged Khan with possession of a machinegun, carrying a potential maximum sentence of 10 years, while Interim President Laura Carlson said `This is frightening to all of us` and UD separated the student.
