Shooting near New York City nightclub leaves 1 dead, assailant on the run: Police
The 39-year-old victim died at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital after being shot near West 46th Street; no arrests or suspect description have been released.
- A man was shot and killed on a sidewalk outside Harbor Nightclub at about 4:13 a.m. on Nov. 23, and his identity is being withheld pending family notification.
- No arrests have been announced, and police say the shooter remains at large with no immediate description or motive, NYPD investigators and Midtown North Precinct report.
- Responding officers found the victim with gunshot wounds to the back and groin, witnesses said he staggered before collapsing, and EMS rushed him to Mount Sinai Morningside where he was pronounced dead.
- Detectives say the investigation remains active and are seeking tips, urging anyone with information to contact the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline 1-800-577-TIPS or visit crimestoppers.nypdonline.org, with all calls kept confidential.
- Through Nov. 16 the Midtown North Precinct reported five homicides, and overall crime is up 2.21%.

Man, 39, shot to death on street in Hell’s Kitchen
A 39-year-old man was shot to death on the street in Hell’s Kitchen early Sunday, cops said. The victim was shot in the back and groin near W. 46th St. and Twelth Ave. about 4:10 a.m., cops said. Medics rushed the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside but he could not be saved. His name was not immediately released. Cops have made no arrests.
