The World Conference on Cultural Policy in Barcelona met with 120 ministers and delegations from 163 countries. The final document reaffirms culture as well as public and development engine.
Minister of Culture Asta Vrečko attended the UNESCO conference on cultural policies and sustainable development Mondiacult in Barcelona from 29 September to 1 October. The purpose of the conference was to strengthen the development of resilient and sustainable cultural policies, with the goal of committing to making culture an independent pillar of the post-2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The Barcelona meeting brought together, for three days, 118 Ministers of Culture and representatives from up to 163 countries.
