- Following lawsuits for unpaid rent, Malik Beasley was evicted on Aug. 6, 2025, from The Stott by Michigan’s 36th District Court.
- Earlier this year, Paperclip Properties LLC sued Beasley on March 6 for $14,150 and again on June 3 for $7,355, with a default judgment on July 15.
- With more than $8M in financial problems and an active FBI investigation into NBA gambling, Beasley faces mounting debts and legal actions.
- With no contract offers, negotiations for Beasley’s three-year, $42 million deal with the Pistons stalled once the investigation became public, leading Detroit to sign Duncan Robinson instead.
