- Six Maoists, including four women, were killed in Narayanpur, police said, carrying a Rs 48 lakh bounty, as security forces from DRG, STF and BSF clashed with insurgents.
- Security personnel then recovered AK-47 and SLR rifles along with explosives and daily-use supplies, after neutralizing threats, the bomb disposal squad opened the cache.
