NASA officials have made several changes to the so-called Artemis program. One more launch has been added to the program and the third launch is no longer planned to land astronauts on the moon.

The US space agency presents an update of the Artemis program that includes new tests in 2026 and 2027 and previews two manned missions to the lunar surface in 2028, with the aim of resuming the human exploration of the sat lite and advancing towards a sustained presence on the Moon.
