We have several areas of grassland that are managed to encourage wildlife and biodiversity. Mid-to-late July is the ideal time of year to start cutting these areas of grass, this practice mimics traditional hay cutting practice on species-rich grassland, this is a practice that most grassland plants have adapted to successfully.
