The Drenthe village of Eleveld was struck by an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 during the night from Friday to Saturday, the KNMI reports based on automated measurements. Earlier, the meteorological institute stated that it was an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.9, but this was later revised. The quake occurred at 02:14 in the village in the municipality of Aa en Hunze, just southeast of Assen.
