Madonna Reveals Release Date for Star-Studded Confessions II – The Film
The 10-minute visual film features Sabrina Carpenter and other stars as Madonna promotes her 15th studio album ahead of its July 3 release.
Madonna will release 'Confessions II- The Film' on YouTube on Monday, June 8, at 11 a.m. EST, following its Friday world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
Directed by David Toro and Solomon Chase , the 10-minute visual work provides a cinematic presentation for Madonna's upcoming 15th studio album, arriving ahead of the July 3 release.
The film features the tracks 'I Feel So Free' and 'Bring Your Love,' a duet with Sabrina Carpenter, while a promotional poster lists stars including Lourdes Leon, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kate Moss, and Julia Garner.
Just yesterday, the singer took over New York City's Times Square for a surprise performance in partnership with Grindr, performing songs from 'Confessions on a Dancefloor' and dropping the single 'Love Sensation.'
This project marks Madonna's first studio album in seven years since 2019's 'Madame X,' as the veteran pop star has achieved global success with 13 UK number one singles and 12 number one albums.
The film is 'an ambitious visual work of more than 10 minutes, built around the first six songs from Madonna's upcoming album, including 'I Feel So Free' and 'Bring Your Love' with Sabrina Carpenter'.
