Madison celebrates 150 years of public library service

“It’s important to celebrate that we have had 150 years of public libraries. That tells me it’s important,” says Madison Public Library director Tana Elias.

This gives us content in our everyday lives, say those who work in the workshops under the Social Welfare Service, whom we met on the birthday of the Social Welfare Service in the Nordic House today.  On 1 April 1975, the Social Security Agency was established and its 50th anniversary was celebrated in the Nordic House today. Here had m.a. the workshops under the Social Welfare Service exhibition and sale of items they have made.      1741286
