German Economy Minister Katharina Reiche is pushing Brussels to make planned measures to cut German companies' electricity costs available to many more companies than previously proposed, defying existing EU rules, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing sources familiar with the plan. If this move goes ahead, German industry will gain a significant advantage in the European market.
