‘Lyons Got Grit’: Residents look to future following Stone Canyon Fire

When the Stone Canyon Fire started burning north of Lyons on Tuesday, many residents were ordered to leave their homes. As they’ve gradually returned to their homes this week, the Lyons community is returning to normal, too. The Stone Canyon Fire is 90% contained and remains at 1,553 acres as of Saturday evening, according to a Boulder County Everbridge alert. Five homes were destroyed in the fire.
