The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the transfer of the Jai Prakash Narayan International Centre (JPNIC) to private companies on a 30-year lease. Rockwood Hotels & Resorts Private Limited and Vrindavan Bottlers will be granted the rights to operate the centre. Under this lease agreement, both companies will pay ₹831 crore to the Uttar Pradesh Development Authority (LDA).

The Jai Prakash Narayan International Centre (JPNIC) in Gomti Nagar will be jointly operated by two private companies.
