A modest turnout in the partial local elections in Mihai Eminescu commune, Botosani county, where less than half of the voters turned up at the polls on Sunday to elect their mayor. Data from the Permanent Electoral Authority show that only 44.19% of the more than 7,300 locals registered on the permanent lists voted, a percentage lower than in the June 2024 elections.
