Loons’ Khaled El-Ahmad addresses contracts for six key players

Minnesota United has six key players coming up on the end of their contracts and Khaled El-Ahmad addressed the status of each on Tuesday. Three veterans — Michael Boxall, Wil Trapp and Robin Lod — are in the final year of their deals this season, but all have one-year club options for the 2026 season.
